Form VI pupils enjoy a Victorian Day

Form VI pupils enjoyed an educational visit to Braintree Museum earlier this week. They were given an authentic lesson from a role play teacher in a Victorian classroom and learned to write on slates. They practised their timetables Victorian style and found out what discipline was like in Victorian schools. Pupils were asked to explore a number of Victorian objects and see if they could work out what they were used for.
