Friends of Oxford House School
In these unprecedented times, the role of the parent body at Oxford House School has never been more crucial. Feedback from past ‘Voice of the Parent’ surveys indicated that parents are keen for a parent-teacher association to be formed and that such a group could play an important role in supporting and strengthening our community of pupils, parents and teachers.
We are pleased to introduce our new Social Committee ‘Friends of Oxford House’, an enthusiastic committee which aims to bring together parents and teachers to discuss how they can best support the education of Oxford House pupils and to raise funds for the benefit of pupils through a variety of events.
The Friends of Oxford House Social Committee (FOOHSC) representatives for 2021-22 are as follows:
Nursery I – Mrs L Jessop
Nursery II – Mrs P Govinden
Reception – Mrs S Parmenter, Secretary
Form I – Mrs S Dhillon
Form II – Mr T Barbrook, Chair
Form III – Mr J Obeng-Nyarko, Treasurer
Form IV – Mrs A van Dorp
Form V – Mr S Curtis & Mr C Howells
We are excited by the endless possibilities for events and celebrations that this committee will bring, cementing family ties within the school community while raising money for local and global charities, not forgetting investment in some luxury items for our pupils.
The ‘Friends of Oxford House’ will work alongside the school’s Senior Leadership Team members to organise and lead events and represent the views of the parent community and each Form Group.
