Form IV ‘Harkhuf – The First Explorer’

Form IV began their journey in Ancient Egypt by reading the book Harkhuf – The First Explorer. This wonderful adventure was written by Laura Marshall who was herself once a Form IV pupil studying Ancient Egypt. Her passion was ignited and she went on to write this wonderful story based on the life of Harkhuf. We have been very privileged to have been sent a message from the author herself recorded especially for our pupils, along with readings of the prologue, and chapters 1 and 2. We have used this book for a few years so some of our Form V and Form VI pupils will no doubt be interested in taking a look.
