Reception class trip to Beth Chatto Gardens

Our Reception class pupils enjoyed a wonderfully sunny day at The Beth Chatto Gardens yesterday. They extended their knowledge of the woodland environment and creatures through:
- going on a camouflage trail and finding lots of cotton ‘caterpillars’ hiding in the woodlands
- going on a mini beast hunt
- making paper pots and planting fennel seeds
- creating ‘garden postcards’ using natural materials found in the garden
Photos of the trip can be viewed here.
