School choir perform at care home

Yesterday our school choir, led by music teacher Jillian Smith, performed for residents at Crouched Friars residential home in Colchester. Their songs were enjoyed by the residents, some of whom joined in with the singing.

Elaine Barker from Crouched Friars residential home said: “Such visits make a huge, positive difference to the residents’ daily routine and they love to see the children.”

The pupils rehearse and perform in school, but taking them out to the community to show what we do is such a great experience!
