The Tudors

On Tuesday 11th July, Forms V and VI were transported back in time and the school hall at Oxford House became the Great Hall of the Court of Henry VIII in 1535.

There were Lords and Ladies dressed in their finest clothes, served by ‘servitors’ at the Great Banquet. They were also entertained with plays, juggling and singing.

The children thoroughly enjoyed their Tudor Day which consolidated their learning in class during history lessons.
